This was the first time that Metallica played the Werchter Boutique festival.

 

This was the first time that "Ride the Lightning" was performed in 2012.

 

This was the first time that the following songs were performed in Werchter: "Hell and Back", "The Struggle Within", "My Friend of Misery", "The God That Failed", "Through the Never", "Don't Tread on Me", and "Holier Than Thou".

 

This was the first time in almost 19 years that "The Unforgiven" was played in Werchter.  It was last played here on July 4, 1993.
