- Show Notes:
Many a fishhead advises if you can only catch one Rads show a year, then make it this annual invitation-only, costume-required, 3-set extravaganza amidst the eye candy of Mardi Gras parade floats on the Saturday night preceding Fat Tuesday. The one of a kind event overfloweth with costumed (or lack thereof) spectacles, musical highlights and MOMents to write home about. The first set is a jambalaya of staples and rarities that immediately establishes it as no ordinary show. Set II comes out of the gate with the band's cover début of Rock And Roll Music and the Zeke penned show theme Double Exposure. And from there the show accelerates with a run of high energy numbers that had the packed venue dancing and feeding the energy back onto the stage. The final set is more intimate, easing the traveler back to terra firma with grace, cheer and heart. The show has it all and each of these annual MOMentous shows are a must have for every collection whether or not you are able to attend. Make no mistake; you do want to make at least one in this lifetime!
