“Give it up for Captain McFeather Daddy”

This here is KSC’s first ever show in Buffalo, New York opening up for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at the legendary Town Ballroom.

“Originally called The Town Casino between the 1940s and 60s, the venue looms large in Buffalo’s history. In the midst of her heyday, the Main Street club was the Queen city’s finest restaurant and night spot. She was home to shuffling showgirls and tough guys playing cards in the basement (Al Capone among them). The room also hosted a myriad of musical legends such as Frank Sinatra, Nat ¨King¨ Cole, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Les Paul. Anyone who was anyone played the Town Casino.”

Epic “I am the Wheel” opener to a packed four tier gladiator arena-like crowd. The band came to rock and we’re glad they did.

Directly into a funky “Wineglass Television” with the South Park theme thrown in. Ben also teases the ZZ Top “Sharp Dressed Man” solo.

Psych infused “Shanti” and the square dancing hit “Kettle” in quick succession

“Innerstate” per Zaq Meyer’s request. Pappy Roy rambles again about the wonders of LSD and light up hands. “Like the fabrics of the universe and what have you”

Scrambled Greg as “Captain Mac Feather Man” led the band in swinging sea shanty esque version of “Mister Funky Daddy.” This one will go down in the history books.

“Petrified” extra scary at this point in time. Ben has fun with his new envelope filter

“Funky Cat” is mashed up with BUFFALO Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth.” Followed by an intense guitar/sax duel and crowd participation.

“Porridge” and the classic “Cars > Chop Suey” to close the set.
